On saturday morning I flew from Baku to London to Paris. I arrived in CDG airport at about 3pm and then took a taxi to the "Residence Pierre et Vacances" hotel in Marne la Vallee near Euro Disney. I should be staying at this hotel for a week then moving to somewhere else, although I am not sure exactly what the other place is yet.
I am in France for an RMC school in Melun at the Schlumberger ELC - European Learning Center. The school lasts for 9 weeks so I will be spending the 9 weeks suffering in France. I will going to the training center 6 days a week - leave hotel at 7am and get back at about 7pm, and they will be expecting work outside of this aswell. I spent the Sunday going around Paris with Rashid. We went to Notre Dame and went up the Eifel tour. I took a couple of pics on the way, the surprising thing is that Baku is actually listed as a location at the top of the tower !! A mere 3823Km away The people who are taking part in my school for RMC come from all over the world. We have two from Malasia, one from Russia, one from Nigeria, one from Venezuela, one from Mexico, one from Baku and finally one from Saudi Arabia... it's quite the mix :-) A total of 10 people, two of which are girls !! |
