After the normal working day nearly everyone from OFS-1 headed into Paris on the RER. Schlumberger had organised a free night out at "culture biere".
The night started at about 8:30pm where we had food in culture biere. The food was ok but nothing special. Once finished, we headed downstairs to the club and had some free drinks. It was very hot inside so at about 2am we abandoned the club and went for a walk around Paris. We walked to the Eiffel tower (which turned out to be shut and not illuminated) and then walked aimlessly around Paris until around 5am when we got the first train back to the hotel. By the end of the night everyone was in a bit of a state and looked near death on the train back :-) Once back at the hotel I decided to wait up till 6:30am to have breakfast :-) It was a good call because it allowed me to do some serious sleeping until 6pm. I then did some work then met some people downstairs and went out for some food at an Italian restaurant. |
