02-04-2007 _ Southampton - London, UK _ Sensa and Science Museum
|
After my RMC school finished I flew to Southampton on Saturday morning then caught the train to Welwyn. I spent Saturday and half of Sunday in Welwyn then took the train back to Southampton. I had to be in Southampton to visit Schlumberger Sensa during Monday and Tuesday that week. I was just going there for an informal visit in preparation for me working there in a years time. During my visit I toured the Research and Development parts and visited the Manufacturing site. What is surprising is how few people support the whole Sensa operation.
In Southampton I stayed in Chilworth Manner. I took a couple of night shots but they dont really do it justice. It is an old country manner which has been converted into a hotel with conference facilities. The company love to burn their money on me :-) On Tuesday Ale arrived from Paris and we went out for a night in Southampton. We went to the cinema, saw the 300 film and then went out for some food at Pizza Express. The following day we went to London and spent day in the Science Museum free entry:-) |
